Rebecca is a New Zealand Registered Dietitian (NZRD) with a passion for empowering others to eat well, live well and perform at their best.

Rebecca holds Bachelor degrees in Human Nutrition and Physical Education from the University of Otago, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Nutrition from the International Olympic Committee. She completed her Masters of Dietetics in 2014 and since then has been providing nutrition support to a wide array of clients from the general population to corporate organisations and athletes, including the Otago Rugby Football Union.

Rebecca’s food and nutrition philosophy is all about balance and individuality. She believes that healthy eating is more than just eating healthy food; it is also fostering healthy relationships with food.

It shouldn’t be about feeling guilty or ashamed because you don’t conform to the latest diet trend or feeling like a failure because you enjoyed a decadent slice from your local café. Instead Rebecca is about helping people find that happy medium, eating well most of the time with the odd treat every now and then. Food is to be enjoyed after all.

Rebecca also appreciates that it is not a one size fits all model. What works for one person won’t necessarily work for another. That is why when she supports clients she tailors evidence-informed nutrition strategies to help them achieve their personal health and performance goals.

Rebecca covers many areas of nutrition including weight management, gut health / IBS management, allergies, intolerances, and reproductive health. However, her area of speciality is sports nutrition (recreational, elite, adolescent). Rebecca also offers corporate health and wellness services for organisations including meal planning, workshops, and one-on-one consultations.
